Here is a barren stretch of land deprived of any vegetation. What little trees are left standing are dead, surrounded by fragile stalks of grass. Scattered along the dry and cracked ground there are patches of withered and dead flowers. Not to mention there are numerous dust storms and tumbleweeds. There aren't a lot of places left for shelter, but be warned that these beasts always lurk in the shadows. There is no true source of water either, and these inhabitants must travel miles for hope of finding any source of water.
At the end of the previous stretch of herd land there lies a passage to a cave. This dark pathway leads to the land were all Fallen come to gain their Ethereal. However, they must pass through the twisting turns of this passage that these herd members know so well. It is easy to get lost for new comers, but once you are accustomed to the constant turning and twisting it becomes second nature. To the side of one of the main passages there is a little pool of water dripping down from the ceiling. To fight here is not something that would be recomended, for you may just impale yourself on a stalagmite.
Located directly below the foot of the festering volcano of Veloren, this land has the most potential for life-threatening danger should the mighty volcano wake upon the command of Exillian. The main part of the land is covered in a shiny black igneous rock which can grow hot during the daylight hours, sometimes to a temperature that could burn flesh right from the bone. The other half of the land contains perhaps the most vegetation you'll see in the Fallen lands, grass grows in clumps here and there and trees, now burned from constant fires spewing from the angry belly of the volcano now stand naked, a very solemn sight to see.
At the end of the twisting passages lies a large opening. Here there is a gathering when it is time for a foal to gain their Ethreal. A natural chemical in the rock allows it to glow in the darkness, casting an eerie green light on the surrounds, but allows all to see the splendor within. In the middle of the cavern lies a platform where the ceremony may take place and there is room around it for curious watchers to watch the ceremony.
Veloren, center of stories and many old ceremonies. This legendary volcano has and always will play a part in Fallen history even if they have strayed from their Exalted roots. Stories are told by the elders of how the god Exillian sprung from its fiery depths, and can command the lava to flow whenever he pleases. However, the volcano has remained inactive for many years and just sits as a foreboding reminder for the Fallen. Many youngsters make it a game to reach the top and back, a race game if you will.
These caves just so happen to be the old caves where sacrifices to the violent god used to take place when the Exalted religion was alive ans well. But many do not know the origin of these caves, now they provide a place to take a break from reality or a great place for hide and seek. But there is one chamber within the caves that has remained sealed off ever since the new mutations began to take place, this is the actual sacrificial chamber, of course, no one knows that's what this was, so they just enjoy trying to guess what's be hind the rocky wall.
Peaceful, quiet, beautiful, serene. However one would word it, any word that brings about a sense of calmness and welcome would be the best way to describe the homeland of the Divine's royals. A calm religion with a lacking thirst for violence, the Divine royals have made their home in the open cliffs in the mountain range the whole Pegasi race calls home. The Enkal Cliffs go on for miles and contain a twisting and winding river known respectively as the Enkal river and at the end of the river lay a steep drop into Kyla Lake. The cliffs them selves are beautiful, with luscious grass and tree groves, it's a place to want to be. Set above the other lands in the Divine country, those that make their home here can see for miles around the lands of Ageis.
Directly below Enkal Falls, Kyla Lake is fed by the roaring falls that cascade from the cliffs hundreds of feet above their heads. There are the rare occasions where the broken body of a foolish Pegasus had fallen over the edge will wash up on the beautiful shores of Kyla Lake. The sand on the thin shore is white as snow and the blue water of the serene lake glistens with the sunlight of the day. The surrounding area of Kyla Lake consists of the Divine's mountain range, the only way to get to this place is to be a Pegasus. Many come to Kyla Lake to seek guidance, they say that when there is a new moon in the sky, and nothing but the stars glitter upon the reflective surface of the lake, they feel a sense of serenity and wisdom rising from the lake, as if the god Rojeir him self is speaking to them, lending a guiding hand to push them back on the right path.
The Aretta Glades, a hidden wonder in the Divine country, a vast space that only the Divine know how to get to. The Aretta Glades however, are not something that naturally occurred, back when men walked the lands, they searched for a place to hide from their enemies, as they came to a smaller opening they made the glades wider by uprooting trees. Here, all that is left of the minuscule town are stones of the houses. The younger of the Divine find the glades fascinating and entertaining in the summer when colorful butterflies cover area, creating a rather surreal feeling in the glade. This is also where the youngsters of the Divine will gain their Ethereal.
Set in the heart of the forest in which the Unicorns of the Regal faction make their home is a rather peculiar land, cleared out by men long ago, Avescance has little to no trace of the cruel mortal hands that shaped it into being. The open space is a welcome diversion from the regular dark gloom of the thick forest surrounding Avescance. Here is where the Regal chief makes his home, to gain access into his herd is an honor and those invited to live within the chief's herd should tread lightly, seeing that they are guests in his home. in the very center of the enormous clearing is a sand pit, if you will, where most of the fighting or deaths take place within the Regal faction.
Contrary to the actual name, the Temple of Najare is not a true temple, but rather the decimated ruins of a great synagogue that once stood, pink quartz stones from the walls and gilded boulders scatter the raised rock platform, all that is left from its glory days where deeply religious figures used to spend most of their time consulting with their God, wondering how to handle the on coming threats of the world around them. Philosophers gather here and preach their thoughts, on religion, science, and the ways of the universe. They are wise, and if you listen closely you may just learn something. The Temple of Najare is also where young Unicorns gain their Ethereal.
The Hole is literally what its title is, a great big pot hole in the middle of the forest of the Regals. The Hole is almost as wide as Avescance and takes many lives of weak Unicorns every year. To leap across The Hole successfully earns any self-respecting Regal bragging rights. It's more of a right of passage for youngsters who have 'come of age'. Those who do not make it across are not mourned, instead the Regal celebrate the loss of a weak member, so basically, make it across alive and don't fall.

It seems that the horses of Ageis have survived a very rough and trying winter, but with season change comes warmth. The sun is coming out from behind the grey clouds of winter to warm the world once more, but be careful, melting snow can cause flash floods. Other than that, the weather is rather mild, if not a little hot.
